    About Us

Moonstar Productions has been in business for over fifteen years, producing documentary films on subjects that are important to us.

Three of the films we have produced: "Arapaho Truths," "Listening for a New Day," and "We are the Arapaho People," are about the continuing struggle of the Northern Arapaho Elders to pass their culture to the next generation.

"Listening for a New Day" had its premiere at the Red Nation Film Festival in Los Angeles on November 11, 2014. The Northern Arapaho Tribe was presented with the Red Nation "Oyate" Award for the film.

Our latest film, "Arapaho Truths," has been the recipient of eight film awards, including:

The Best Animated/ Experimental Film Award at the North Beach American Film Festival in North Beach, Maryland.

Mitakuye Oyasin "All My Relations" Inclusion in Filmmaking Award at the Indie Fan Film Fest International.

The Grand Prize at The Kids Video Connection Children's Film Festival, Atlanta, Georgia.

Winner of the Best Documentary at The Popcorn Roulette Film Festival, Haverhill, Massachusetts.

Winner of the Best Short Documentary at the Central States Indie Film Festival, Summer Season.
